Day 1/90
And so it begins . . . Day 1 of 90.
Are you excited? I am! I am primarily excited to see how God meets each of us right where we are, how He demonstrates His love and grace to us and how He draws us to Himself. We have each been placed in this group for a specific purpose. As we persevere through these 90 days together it’s going to be amazing to watch that purpose unfold.
Today’s Reading:
Week 1 | Preview | Names for Jesus
Week 1 | Day 1 | Names for Jesus: Cornerstone
Here is a calendar that lists the reading for each day for those of you that would like to use one to follow along, track your progress or simply just to have something to check off.
Feel free to leave a comment below regarding anything that struck you as you were reading.
Were you especially encouraged by something? Convicted? Confused Motivated? . . . the list could go on and on. I encourage you to engage daily in the group. Share with us what God is revealing to you.
Each day I will also have a thought, question, exercise or something specific for us to chat about. Today, I would like to know how you will be implementing the Daily Spiritual Exercise (DSE) this week. Comment below and let us know your plans.
I’m praying for each of you.
I once heard someone say that ‘pray without ceasing’ doesn’t mean to literally pray. He said he rarely prays 20 minute prayers but he never goes 20 minutes without praying. That is my plan for this weeks DSE. Try to not go more than 20-30 minutes without at least thanking God for His grace and allowing me to progress.
Thanking him for bringing me this far.
Weekly prayer & fasting. Restoring my faith in trusting God. Makimg sure I’m commited not just connected.
To speak of praying and giving thanks constantly, I pray quite often mostly in my car. However, a situation occurred outside of my private conversations with the Lord when I was volunteering at an event New Year’s Eve night. I told my supervisor that I could volunteer until 10 or 11pm because I needed to be in a place to pray the new year in.
At 11 he bid me Ado, but asked if I could pray for him. I thought he wanted me to pray for him in my private prayers, but he said something lead him to ask me to pray for him in person. I was surprised (but ready) and prayed with him before I left. He thanked me and said that a weight was lifted off his shoulders. I told him to keep the faith, and walk with the Lord into the new year.
Thanking and acknowledging the Lord through prayer private or public is priceless and a “conerstone” of our being. I vow to increase filling my soul with more praying and for my physical body’s fitness, to start with drinking more water.
Thanks 😊
Continuous prayer and faith and trusting in GOD while thanking him throughout the day for his mighty blessings!
Thanking God and praying to and with cause me to have more faith him. He have given me the strength for me and other to pursue it.
With me engaging with God daily is making my mind to think better and more clearer in my daily activities.
We cannot do without God, he is our all and all.
Thank you Lord Jesus for your Grace and, Mercy.
Maintaining and having a connection with God all through our day asking for guidance in all sutuation fellowshiping with Him is the key setting our focus being in God present, staying in communicating with God is through prayer!
